Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Position Overview:
As a key provider in our urgent care centers, you will be responsible for treating adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up), managing high-volume caseloads with professionalism and compassion. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive efficient, accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment. You'll work independently as the sole provider at your assigned center, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and collaborating closely with support staff and offsite supervising physicians. Required Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system, including modified training and usage for all visits
• Certification: Board Certification (ABMS / NCCPA / NP Boards), BLS, BLS, and NC DEA license
• Strong clinical assessment skills for minor procedures including I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, and others
• Excellent soft skills with an emphasis on patient rapport and teamwork
• Ability to work independently as the sole provider with minimal supervision
• Good organizational skills to handle high patient volume effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with pediatric urgent care cases
• Familiarity with minor procedures and onsite support staff coordination
• Experience working in multi-site urgent care networks
• Additional certifications related to urgent or emergency care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• 12+ months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience in similar settings
• Experience using EPIC EMR in a clinical environment

Other Requirements:

• Able to participate in scheduled EMR and credentialing onboarding on Wednesdays
• Willingness to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius of your residence
• Must pass clinical screening and credentialing process before onboarding
• Travel/lodging reimbursements are not available; travel within a specified radius only
• Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, and onsite support personnel

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Actual competitive pay will be discussed during the interview process; this may be a placeholder)
