Full-Time Opportunity (7 on/7 off shift model; 24-hour shifts)
Candidate will be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), with fellowship training in Gastroenterology
At least two years in an inpatient setting is required
Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
As a GI Hospitalist, you will oversee inpatient and/or ED consults, manage GI-related admissions, provide comprehensive evaluation and management of hospitalized adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions, and coordinate care with the broader GI and hospital medicine teams
Patient volume is approximately 20-30 patients per day
Procedures to be provided bedside and/or at endoscopy suite
