Physician - Family Medicine

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking dedicated physicians to provide comprehensive pain-focused care within Primary Care. Join a supportive, collaborative team serving our nations Veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Primary Care Providers to develop individualized pain care plans
Address important safety needs such as naloxone, urine drug screening, informed opioid consent, and Behavioral Health follow-up
Coordinate care with Social Work, Behavioral Health, Mental Health Integration teams, and administrative staff
Participate in multidisciplinary pain management discussions
Provide education and support to staff; optional teaching of trainees

Preferred Experience:

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Two years of experience in Pain Medicine
