Required Skills
- Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
- Proven experience in nephrology practice, including managing dialysis, CKD, and acute kidney injury.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle weekend call duties effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in hospital-based nephrology services.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional certifications such as Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Advanced Kidney Care Certification.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nephrology.
Other Requirements
- Weekend call coverage from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM.
- Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements as applicable.
- Availability for call coverage on specific dates: May 22-25, May 29-June 1, June 19-22, July 24-27, Sept 11-14, Sept 18-21, Oct 16-19, Nov 13-16, Dec 11-14.
- All-Inclusive Reasonable Rate preferred.
