Pediatric Anesthesia Associates P.C. and the Department of Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM) are recruiting Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join our Main OR or Cardiac Anesthesia team in Metro Detroit.   

Our diverse and dedicated family of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs all have advanced pediatric training.  The Department provides services for procedures such as cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, transplant surgery, and other complex surgeries.  Non-surgical services include radiology, interventional radiology, PET, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, interventional cardiology, and procedural surgery. 

About the position: 

  • Join a department of 20 physicians with a high retention rate and excellent work/life balance 
  • Call is 1:13 from home 
  • Supervision model of CRNAs, fellows, & residents; typical coverage 1:1 or 1:2 
  • 14 Operating rooms 
  • 228 bed hospital is a Level 1 trauma center with 40+ pediatric specialties, Level 4 NICU with 40 beds (6 Neuro-NICU) and 48 PICU beds (16 cardiac ICU beds)  
  • Academic affiliation with Wayne State University, Central Michigan University and Michigan State University 
  • Partnership track available 

Ideal Candidates Will Be:   

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesia  
  • Cardiac fellowship training or 10+ years clinical experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia for Cardiac position 
  • Passionate about serving in an urban community and teaching   
  • Eligible to obtain license in the State of Michigan; visa sponsorship considered
