Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive in Richmond, VA

Required Skills:

• Board certification in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
• Valid VA medical license or eligibility
• Proficiency in interpreting Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
• Ability to provide inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to supervise healthcare providers, including APCs

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular procedures
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient engagement

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiology practice experience
• Prior experience working in hospital settings preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start ASAP, with credentialing estimated at 120 days
• Local providers only; full-time coverage Monday through Friday with call rotation
• Willingness to adapt to inpatient and outpatient clinical environments
• Ability to supervise up to four APCs
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $19.50, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses.
