Hospitalist - Pediatrics, Pediatrics

Required Skills:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics (Highly Preferred)
- Proven experience in pediatric inpatient and outpatient care
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on newborn and pediatric patient management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with CLIA-waived testing and in-office laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with call rotation and overnight coverage
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license and hospital privileges in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric hospitalist experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work a fixed clinic schedule (Monday to Friday with some weekends on call)
- Call coverage approximately 10 days per month, mainly for newborn care, on a rotating schedule
- Willingness to participate in rotating call and weekend coverage
- Compliance with all pre-hire requirements, including background check, drug screening, and credentialing
- Must log all overtime and callback hours accurately
- Must obtain and maintain all necessary certifications and licensure
- Providers are responsible for reimbursable travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses when applicable
