Broward Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our growing, multidisciplinary cancer program in Fort Lauderdale. The selected physician will play a key role in delivering comprehensive breast surgical services, contributing to program development, and enhancing access to high-quality oncology care across Broward Health's network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access to state-of-the-art imaging and surgical services including on-site mammography, breast MRI, ultrasound and biopsy services
- Strong referral network with established primary care and specialty providers
- Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant breast disease
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and navigation services
- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to evidence-based treatment planning
- Support program growth and development of breast oncology services
- Engage in community outreach, education, and screening initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology with a breast focus preferred
