Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics & Gynecology

Overview

Gynecology Specialists, located in Chesapeake, VA, is looking to expand their growing team and add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Interest in or experience with hormone replacement is a plus!

Practice Highlights:

• Well established practice with a great team of experienced physicians
• Excellent mentorship available to new graduates
• Practice consists of 2 MDs (1 MD, 1 DO), 1 PA and 1 NP
• 8:30-5:00pm, 4 days/week
• Patient census: 16-20 patients/day
• Flexible schedule to maintain Work/Life Balance
• Affiliated with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
• Telemedicine appointments available to patients
• Clinic specializes in hormone replacement

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain

• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain

• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain

• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans

• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff

• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred
