Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to fill an opening with a skilled care facility located in Queens, New York. Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program.
  • Licensure: Must have an active New York State Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license.
  • Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing home or skilled care facility setting.
  • Requirements:
    • Must be immune to Hepatitis B (proof of immunity required).
    • Must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday
    • Must have a flexible schedule.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being, to the nursing team.
  • Ensure resident safety and comfort throughout the night shift, responding promptly to call lights and resident needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and promote resident independence.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
