Hartford HealthCares Ayer Neuroscience Institutehas a new opportunity for aBE/BC Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our cohesive multidisciplinary team in abrand-new, state-of-the-art ambulatory Neuroscience Center.

Some highlights of this opportunity include:

Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc.

Work in a collaborative environment with opportunity to develop clinical research

Perform electromyography (EMG) studies

Participate in the NCS technician training program

Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop neuromuscular care paradigms, advance quality of care initiatives, promote patient experience, and find opportunities for research and innovation

Help develop neuromuscular ultrasound service line

Structured mentorship program designed to support physicians new to our dynamic institute and healthcare system

Our new comprehensive Neuroscience Centeris a thoughtfully designed facility that brings neuromuscular care together with general neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, PM&R, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, cognitive neurology, neuroimmunology, primary care, rheumatology, infusion services, EEG, and advanced diagnostic imagingall under one roof. The center is structured to enhance collaboration and deliver seamless, coordinated care, supported by nurse navigation.

The Ayer Neuroscience Instituteis a rapidly expanding Institute with a focus on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research. The Institute enjoys the resources of a system committed to excellence in patient quality and experience and boasts an impressive staff of world class Neuroscience leaders which includes over 200 Neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners. We are an academic institution affiliated with University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University Medical School. We are actively involved in medical education of students, residents and fellows. We conduct clinical research in all major areas of care related to the Neurosciences.
