Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB in Rowlett, TX!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage OB triage, admissions, and patient care in labor and delivery units
• Attend deliveries, provide inpatient care, and perform surgical assists at cesarean sections
• Monitor fetal well-being and respond to emergencies in labor and delivery areas
• Conduct ER consults for GYN emergencies and handle private call coverage
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists, NNPs, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancy management
• Work with anesthesiology services available 24/7 during shifts of 24 hours in-house

Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
• Current medical license to practice in Texas
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecologic hospitalist services
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with fetal monitoring and high-risk pregnancy management
• Familiarity with Level III NICU operations and neonatal collaboration
• Prior work with hospital electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD/DO with at least 2 years of hospitalist obstetric experience preferred
• High-risk obstetrics experience highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 24-hour in-house shifts starting April 11, 2026
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
• Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable

Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
