Position Overview
As the CTMP, you will serve as the senior physics authority for Radiation Oncology, ensuring the safe, precise, and high-quality delivery of radiation therapy to our nation’s Veterans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all medical physics and dosimetry operations
- Oversee quality assurance (QA) for radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure compliance with national standards, including:
- American College of Radiology
- American Society for Radiation Oncology
- American Association of Physicists in Medicine
- Supervise and mentor physicists, dosimetrists, and technical staff
- Serve as a key advisor on radiation safety and regulatory compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in patient care
