Opportunity Details

This position includes close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and fellow PAs to deliver exceptional care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, encompassing initial evaluation, treatment planning, and post-operative management.

  • Schedule:Variable, M-Su, 40 hours/week

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of post-graduate PA experience, preferably in an orthopedic or surgical specialty
  • Demonstrated clinical judgment, procedural proficiency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced orthopedic setting
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
