Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Ability to perform procedures such as hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy management, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertions, and more
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a hospital or emergency setting
• Prior involvement with high-acuity cases
• Bilingual capabilities to support diverse patient populations
• Knowledge of minimally invasive gynecologic procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of obstetrics and gynecology practice, preferably in high-volume or emergency settings
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Other Requirements:

• Ability to cover 5-8 in-house, 24-hour call shifts per month on a long-term basis
• Flexibility to work on weekends or nights as needed
• Willingness to collaborate with a team including five midwives supporting labor and delivery
• Candidates must be comfortable handling emergent and high-risk cases in a fast-paced environment
