In this role, you will handle inpatient consults, outpatient clinics, and infusion center responsibilities while providing critical 24/7 inpatient and emergency department coverage. Your expertise will guide vital procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies, ensuring the best outcomes for our young patients. Required Skills:

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
  • Valid state medical license (Temporary license or IMLC accepted)
  • DEA certification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical skills in pediatric hematology and oncology
  • Proficiency in procedures such as LP and bone marrow biopsy
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center
  • Experience with pediatric critical care
  • Additional certifications or training in pediatric subspecialties
  • Fluency in additional languages

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of pediatric hematology-oncology experience
  • Previous work in a hospital setting with complex patient cases

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to support a 4x4-hour shift schedule (07:00 - 13:00)
  • Ability to complete credentialing within 60 days
  • Willing to license via IMLC or temporary license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with trauma and subspecialty support
