Physician - Obstetrics & Gynecology

Join Our Team as a Locum OB/GYN in Gaylord, MI and Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare!

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN physician to provide temporary coverage at a reputable facility starting October 1, 2026. Required Skills:

• Valid OB/GYN Medical License and Board Certification
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology practices
• Competency in managing low and high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in OB/GYN procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, and gynecological surgeries
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with expertise in ultrasound, labor, and delivery procedures
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or PALS
• Previous locum or temporary physician experience
• Ability to handle night or on-call shifts effectively

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Familiarity with Level 2 trauma and obstetric care settings

Other Requirements:

• Must be local to Gaylord, MI, or able to commute reliably
• Availability for at least 5 shifts per week, including occasional night or on-call shifts
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care, with flexibility for scheduled and emergency procedures
• Valid ACLS certification required
