Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert general urology services, including ureteroscopy, to adult and geriatric patients.
• Cover inpatient hospital-based care at both St. Francis Downtown and St. Francis Eastside locations.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of Urologists, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Willingness to cover designated shifts on specific dates as scheduled, with availability for multiple periods throughout the year.
• Support inpatient procedures and manage complex cases within Level 3 trauma settings.

Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Urology.
• Proven experience in general urology practices, including ureteroscopy procedures.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage adult and geriatric inpatient populations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varied hospital environments.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience working in hospital settings with inpatient focus.
• Familiarity with Level 3 trauma centers.
• Ability to assist with inpatient APC support when needed.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in Urology preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Must be available for scheduled dates, with flexibility to cover additional shifts if necessary.
• Travel reimbursements accepted for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage according to IRS standards.
• Onsite lab and x-ray facilities available, with support staff in place.
• This role involves 100% inpatient adult and geriatric care within a hospital setting.

Hourly Pay Rate: $3,510.00
