Join our team as an RN Practitioner. In the RN Practitioner role you will:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis and works with MD partners to assure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal plan of care.
• Perform advanced practice procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to promote/restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
• Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Recent Urgent Care Experience Preffered

The schedule consists of weekdays and four weekend days per month. Weekday shifts run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, while weekend shifts are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This schedule averages 80 hours over a two-week pay period.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting, preferred
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
• Masters Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner, from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program required. Must be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Graduate from an Accredited School Of Nursing required
• Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty.
• RN License required
• BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
• ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
• Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

CommonSpirit Urgent Care Powers Pointe provides quality and compassionate urgent and acute care walk-in services to children and adults for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. Our Urgent Care is staffed with specially trained physicians and experienced nurses who are ready to care for your urgent condition without having scheduled an appointment.

Pay Range
$44.55 - $88.39 /hour
