We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Primary Care Physician to provide vital healthcare services for up to 12 months at St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics, with an emphasis on adult care.
  • Perform routine procedures, including primary care assessments and potentially circumcisions.
  • Manage an average patient load of 17-20 patients daily while delivering personalized care.
  • Collaborate with a support team including a Medical Assistant, receptionist, and clinic RN as needed.
  • Utilize eClinicalworks EMR to document and manage patient information efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent coverage Monday through Friday, ensuring continuity of care for the community.

Required Skills:
  • Active medical license to practice in Oregon.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience providing primary care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work reliably Monday through Friday, participating fully in scheduled shifts.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience performing primary care procedures such as circumcisions.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalworks EMR system.
  • Previous experience in hospital or community clinic environments.
  • Comfort with seeing patients of diverse ages, with a focus on adult care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of primary care practice experience.
  • Previous locum or temporary assignment background is advantageous.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start as soon as credentialed.
  • Willingness to travel and stay within MSA guidelines for lodging.
  • Compliance with all licensure, certification, and credentialing processes.
  • Must be able to work on-site, providing reliable coverage Tuesday through Friday.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $200–$220 (excluding orientation, holidays, and malpractice coverage)
  • Orientation: $100–$110 per hour (applicable after 8 hours, with pay for additional training)
  • Holiday Pay: 1.5x the hourly rate ($300–$330) for designated holidays
