Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with cardiology expertise
- Proven experience in inpatient cardiology care
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) on a scheduled weekly basis
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in a locum or temporary staffing role
- Ability to manage complex cardiac cases independently
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of Washington
- At least 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience
- Previous locum tenens experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing process completion prior to start date (estimated 30-60 days)
- Willingness to work long-term, ongoing overnight shifts (minimum two weeks per month)
- Flexibility to start immediately after credentialing
- Reliable transportation and adherence to all hospital and professional standards
- Travel and licensing reimbursements provided, where applicable
