Hospitalist Pediatric Physician

Required Skills:
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
- Proven ability to manage neonatal and pediatric patients, including intubation and line placement
- Experience in newborn nurseries, ER, and inpatient pediatric care
- Strong clinical judgment and stabilization skills for infants
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for remote call response and coordination
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospitalist or pediatric call coverage
- Ability to handle up to 2-3 ER calls per day remotely
- Familiarity with nursery and inpatient pediatric units
- Prior experience with transporting or stabilizing infants for transfer
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Recent residency or practice in pediatric hospital medicine
- Open to newer graduates with strong clinical skills
- Board-certified preferred; board-eligible considered
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work specific scheduled dates: June 5-8 and June 19-22, 2026
- Night shifts: 2x24-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Must have or be able to obtain necessary licensure by June start date (note: no license will be provided for this short-term coverage)
- Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes from home or hotel
- No accommodations on schedule; strict Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM schedule
- Valid case logs and AR license necessary for fast credentialing
This role offers competitive pay at $2,730 per hour, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive medical benefits. Enjoy robust support from a dedicated team, paid sick leave, licensure, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable, along with a flat fee of $6,700 for each weekend shift.
