Required Skills:

• Valid and current medical license with board certification in Psychiatry
• Proven clinical experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Knowledge of current psychiatric practices, medications, and therapeutic techniques

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in diverse healthcare settings
• Additional certifications in subspecialties such as Addiction Psychiatry or Forensic Psychiatry
• Bilingual proficiency to enhance patient engagement
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in psychiatry
• Prior experience working in outpatient or inpatient settings preferred

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in departmental meetings and ongoing training
• Ability to adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local laws regarding medical practice
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
• Willingness to travel if required, with reimbursements provided
