Overview
Inhospital Physicians (IHP) is actively hiring full-time Emergency Medicine physicians to support our partnership with Prime Healthcare at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This is an immediate need with additional openings for Summer 2026.

This opportunity offers a stable, physician-led environment with strong specialty support and a flexible scheduling model.

Position Details

• Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
• 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
• Flexible scheduling structure
• Mix of independent coverage and team-based support
• EMR: EPIC with dictation

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with consulting services and inpatient teams
• Ensure timely documentation and efficient patient throughput
• Participate in quality and operational initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Active Missouri license or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Experience in a community Emergency Department preferred
