Physician - Family Medicine

Specialty: Family Practice Physician (BC Required)

Client: Indian Health Service, Chinle Service Unit – Tsaile Health Center (THC)

Location: Tsaile Health Center, Tsaile, Arizona

Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Appointments run 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in 30-minute slots.

Call Requirements: No call

% inpatient / % outpatient: 100% outpatient.

Patient Volume: avg 12 -16 patients per day.

Patient Ages: All ages.

Types of Cases: Preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, mental health, minor procedures, coordination of specialty care, urgent medical needs if required

Support Staff: Additional Physicians on staff, Advanced Practice Providers, Nursing and Admin support

Procedures Required: Minor and outpatient surgery, treatment-room urgent care support, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, referrals, and full outpatient family practice services.

Type of Charting: EMR - RPMS

Requirements: Board Certified in Family Medicine, any State License accepted, BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA
