Located in Bridgeport, St. Vincents has more than 3,200 employees and includes a 473-bed community hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport and special needs services for adults and children.

The Connecticut Orthopedic Institutes Physician Assistant team is a growing department that covers inpatient joint reconstruction, spine, podiatry and acute fracture care.
Physician Assistant (PA) Description
- First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room.
- Provides pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Documents patient encounters, including but not limited to: admissions, brief operative, progress, event, procedure and discharge notes.
- Enters, reviews and updates orders.
- Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and appropriate patient disposition.
Schedule: Per Diem - Mostly weekend and night coverage with some weekday coverage

Qualifications
- Board certified (NCCPA).
- Current or eligible CT PA license.
- Minimal two years of PA orthopedic surgery experience required.
