Join a supportive team at our Primary Care Clinic conveniently attached to Platte County Hospital (PCH) where you'll provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages while enjoying small-town living, stunning mountain views, and access to robust specialty care through Banner Health.
Wheatland offers small-town living at its best, with stunning mountain views, lakes, and outdoor activities including fishing and hiking at nearby Guernsey and Glendo, as well as Laramie Peak and Medicine Bow National Forest. Community traditions include the County Fair and Chugwater Chili Cookoff, with big-city amenities just an hour away in Cheyenne and a short drive to Denver.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $290,000
- $100,000 loan repayment through Banner Health, plus eligible for NHSC Loan Repayment Program
- $60,000 sign-on/relocation bonus
- Up to $18,000 resident stipend
- Eligible for retention bonus
- Paid CME plus malpractice coverage
- Comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and more
- No state income tax
- HRSA-designated site with HPSA score of 12
Practice Highlights:
- Outpatient only, M-F 8-5 (flexible 4-day schedule)
- Manageable patient volume: 14-18 patients per day
- No clinic call requirements; optional ED or hospitalist coverage available for those seeking variety
- Comprehensive support staff: MA support, front desk, RN and leadership
- Access to a full range of medical specialties in the area to support patient care
We seek candidates who are:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS)
- Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
- Outgoing, engaged, and excited to connect with the community
- Collaborative, friendly, and patient-focused
