Physician - Nephrology

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join a well-established practice in Easton, Maryland.

Join a collaborative team providing comprehensive kidney care across inpatient and outpatient settings, with strong clinical support and a growing patient population.

Practice Details

• Established nephrology practice with strong referral base
• Inpatient and outpatient mix
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage
• Call: 1:4 hospital call
• Supported by Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff

Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease
• Provide inpatient consults and outpatient nephrology care
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Participate in patient education and community outreach initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $349,180
  • Based on MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
  • Commensurate with experience and training
• Sign-on options (choose one):
  • $20,000–$25,000 bonus OR
  • $50,000 housing allowance (year one)
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000
• Competitive production bonus

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Maryland medical license (or eligibility)
• DEA certification
• Eligible for privileges at a UMMS-affiliated facility
