- Schedule: 7-10 24-hour shifts per month
- Call: 24/7 call coverage & Telenoc night coverage

- ICU Beds: 4
- Acute/Swing/ SNF: 21 (17 inpatient; 4 Observation)
- Swing beds: licensed for 10 utilizing acute beds listed above
- Average Daily Census: 12-16
- Average Weekly Admissions: 25
- Average Daily Discharges: 3-5
- Standard timeframe: out by 11am
- Average LOS: Med/Surg 3.2
- Average Encounters per day: all inpatient and observations; swing-bed admission rounding once every 3 days
- Subspecialty Support: Pulmonology/Critical Care 24x7 via tele-ICU, Neurology, Anesthesia 24/7, Cardiology intermittent, General Surgery 24/7, Infectious Disease, Orthopedic Surgery intermittent, OB 24x7, Urology intermittent, & tele-nephrology 24x7, tele-psych 24x7, & telestroke 24x7
- EMR: Cerner
- Catchment area/Referring Hospitals: surrounding communities with 25,000 population with no other hospitals
- Ancillary Support: RT 24/7, Lab 24/7, Imaging 24/7, PT/OT/ST 7 days/week, onsite pharmacy daytime 7 days/week; dietitian 4 hours 5 days/week; onsite case management 7days/week
- Emergency Department: MD or APP: 34 hours of coverage (24 hours MD and 10 hours APP)
- Shift length: 12-hours for MD and 10-hours for APP
Experience + Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working independently and performing all procedures
- Active AZ License or the ability to obtain
Compensation & Benefits
- Independent Contractor (1099) - $320K per year for 10 shifts per month
