Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia! In this role, you will work as-needed, 8 hour shifts with our inpatient hospital medicine team. This role offers a highly flexible schedule and also serves as a great opportunity for a clinician interested in transitioning to a full-time role in the future, should an opening become available.

• 231-bed comprehensive acute-care facility
• Key services include a busy ED, our Heart, Orthopedic, Surgery, Rehabilitation, Sleep, and Birthing Centers with specialists trained specifically for these needs; and an extensive mental health program
• EMR: Meditech

 
Position Overview

• PRN (as-needed) schedule with maximum flexibility
• Flexible scheduling: typically 8-hour shift coverage
• Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least 3 shifts within a six-month period
• Competitive PRN compensation
• Inpatient clinician experience is strongly preferred
• No solo clinician coverage required
• No ICU coverage required
• Average admissions: 8 per day
• Average census: 13
• No codes or rapids
