Required Skills:

  • NCCPA Certification
  • NC Medicaid Credentialed and Enrolled in PECOS
  • Proficiency with Meditech 6.1 EMR System
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
  • Experience working in a hospital-owned APTS environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred, but strong new graduates with relevant rotations may be considered

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for open shifts on 7/1, 7/2, and 7/6 from 12 PM to 12 AM
  • Willingness to operate within open ICU environment with split coverage
  • Ability to manage a daily patient volume of approximately 90-100 patients, with typical case loads of 18-20 patients per shift
  • Capable of traveling with costs capped at $500 when applicable
  • Must be housed in hospital-owned APTS

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit and comprehensive medical benefits (W-2).
