Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Gastroenterology team in a 100% outpatient ambulatory role with a focus on General GI.

Specialized Focus Develop a clinical practice centered on General GI plus area of specific interest, not the full breadth of GI, giving you a manageable patient panel.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• 8 clinical sessions + 2 administrative sessions weekly

• No call, no weekends, no holidays, no nights

• Admin sessions are remote-capable and scheduled based on clinic needs

• Patient Population: Adult patients with general GI and IBD-related concerns

• Patient Volume: After ramp-up, ~16 patients booked/day (expected to see 12 or 13 per day)

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master s or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program

• NP or PA certification

• Massachusetts NP or PA license

• Prior experience in Gastroenterology or ambulatory care setting

• Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills

• 2 years of APP experience
