Physician - Cardiology

The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a large, established, and rapidly growing cardiology practice in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume, collaborative group supported by a leading academic health system while practicing in a community-focused setting.

Practice Highlights

• Established team of 12 Cardiologists, 11 APPs, and 4 nurses
• Office-based and hospital-based care within a single-specialty group
• Average patient volume: ~30 patients/day (blended inpatient/outpatient)

Qualifications

Required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for or active Maryland medical license
• BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred

• Skills in:
  • Echocardiography (Echo/TEE)
  • Nuclear Cardiology
  • Cardiac CT
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians

Compensation & Incentives

• Starting salary: $425,000
• $20,000 sign-on bonus
• Additional incentives:
