Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule: Days/Weekends/Call
  • Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • Specialty: Cardiology
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements: Shared Call Coverage: 1:6
  • General cardiology practice includes inpatient and outpatient cardiology, echocardiography and other cardiac imaging depending on training and interest.  Level 2 training in echocardiography is required.  
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiology care and consultations encompass the entire breadth of modern cardiology.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
