Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in emergency or internal medicine
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume patient load (25-30 patients per day)
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

Nice to Have Skills:

• American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience working in a community hospital setting
• Ability to handle diverse patient ages and conditions effectively
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Prior experience in an emergency department environment
• At least one year of post-residency clinical practice

Other Requirements:

• Able to work 24-hour shifts (Day 5x24-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 07:00)
• Willingness to support staff including physicians, nurses, techs, and APPs as needed
• Compliance with all credentialing timelines (approximately 90 days)
• Availability to travel or relocate as necessary; insurance and reimbursements provided

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $277.14 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
