What You’ll Do

  • Interpret a broad range of nuclear medicine studies—including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and cardiac imaging—and general radiology studies.
  • Supervise/consult with technologists, protocol imaging studies, review pre-procedure labs, and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
  • Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to quality management, peer review, and resident/technologist education.
  • Collaborate within a fully digital Radiology department serving ~129,000 studies annually.

Academic appointment at University of Arizona faculty (Assistant/Associate Professor) available and encouraged!

What We Seek

  • US MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiology residency.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Significant experience with nuclear medicine studies and therapies (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, nuclear stress tests), or recent fellowship in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Ability to interpret radiographs and body imaging and perform fluoroscopic exams is preferred.
  • Passion for resident/fellow education.
  • Eligibility for US federal employment.
