About the Opportunity
The West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Electrophysiologist to lead and grow our program within a dynamic and expanding Division of Pediatric Cardiology.
Youll provide care at WVU Medicine Golisano Childrens Hospital, while also supporting a robust statewide outreach network delivering diagnostic and specialty services.
Our division includes expertise in:
- Fetal Cardiology
- Advanced Cardiac Imaging
- Interventional Catheterization
- Noninvasive & Invasive Electrophysiology
- Adult Congenital Heart Disease
- Preventive Cardiology
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive pediatric cardiology care with a focus on electrophysiology
- Provide clinical leadership as Medical Director
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in program development and academic initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- Completion of:
- Pediatric Residency
- Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
- Specialized training in Pediatric Electrophysiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
For Associate/Professor rank:
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong academic portfolio and publications
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
