Patient Volume: 55,000

Coverage Model: 45-50hrs of physician coverage and 27+hrs of NP/PA coverage(adjusted monthly for volume flux)

Acuity: Medium

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center - Longview is the flagship hospital for the region and serves as a comprehensive tertiary-care hub for East Texas. It is part of the CHRISTUS Health system and offers a broad range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, heart and vascular services, a certified primary stroke center, advanced surgical services, womens and childrens care, and various medical and surgical subspecialties. As a regional referral center, it attracts a wide variety of cases from surrounding communities, giving physicians exposure to complex pathology while still maintaining a collegial, community-hospital culture.
