Job Description

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a BC Medical Bariatrician to join our Bariatric Clinic. Our Healthy Weight Management & Bariatric Surgery program offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss that includes both weight loss surgery and a non-surgical, medically managed weight loss option. Our team includes fellowship-trained surgeons and physicians that specialize in obesity medicine as well as nurses, dietitians, and exercise physiologists.

Our Bariatric Surgery program at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is an accredited bariatric center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), administered by the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. In addition, our program is also designated a Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery® by Capital Blue Cross and is often recognized as a top program by industry2

This role will be Part-time (0.5 FTE)

Minimum Requirement:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
  • Completion of Primary Care Residency
  • Board Certified in Obesity Medicine
  • Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
