Banner University Medical Group Phoenix, in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix Family Medicine Residency, is seeking a full-time clinician educator to join our established and nationally recognized program.

As Arizona's original Family Medicine residency and one of the first programs in the country, our growing fully accredited 8/8/8 residency has a long-standing reputation for excellence in education, clinical care, and scholarship.

This is an opportunity to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine while helping train the next generation of physicians in a collaborative, academic environment. Obstetrics experience and interest in teaching OB are strongly preferred.

Position Overview

• Practice full-spectrum Family Medicine including outpatient, inpatient, newborn care, procedures, and OB (preferred)
• Teach and precept Family Medicine residents and medical students as core faculty
• Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix
• 0.8 Clinical / 0.2 Teaching & Administrative split with protected time for teaching, scholarship, and administrative responsibilities
• Opportunities for leadership and academic growth

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm | Average 18 patients per 8-hour clinical day | Inpatient call approximately 1 in 8 weeks | OB call approximately 1 day every 5 days

Our innovative, team-based Family Medicine Center (12 faculty physicians, 4 APPs, 24 residents) features a collaborative culture of lifelong learners focused on mentorship, with an active scholarly environment and regular publications and presentations. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Obstetrics experience preferred
• Passionate about resident and medical student education
• Enjoys both inpatient and outpatient medicine
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Interest in scholarship, academic medicine, and leadership development
• Understanding of ACGME accreditation standards
