Required Skills

• Board Certification in Cardiology (BC or True BE)
• Valid PA Medical License; IMLC acceptance preferred
• DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience, including proficiency in interventional procedures such as STEMI interventions
• Strong ability to perform hospital rounding and emergency procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Prior experience covering general cardiology calls, including weekends and holidays
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular procedures or patient management

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 1 year of hands-on interventional cardiology practice, with proven competency in urgent and elective procedures

Other Requirements

• Availability for 8-hour hospital rounds, 24-hour call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to support general cardiology rounding during weekends with NP assistance
• Reliable travel and licensure reimbursement when applicable
