Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, with the ability to manage complex neonatal cases
• Proficiency in advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusions, thermal cooling, and ventilator management (including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide)
• Strong communication skills for providing guidance and emotional support to families in high-stress situations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with neonatal research or quality improvement initiatives
• Certifications such as AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Familiarity with emerging neonatal therapies and technologies

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting

Other Requirements:

• Active license to practice medicine in the applicable state
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts starting July 13, 2026, with potential for ongoing assignments
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and maintain professionalism and empathy
