Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology provider to join our dynamic team. This onsite opportunity offers the flexibility of working 3-4 days per week, two weeks per month, focusing solely on outpatient consultations, treatment oversight, and follow-up care. Enjoy the freedom of no inpatient responsibilities, no call duties, and no need for APC supervision, as inpatient cases are referred to our tertiary care center in Wausau. This role is ideal for professionals eager to provide exceptional outpatient care in a supportive environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty training or experience in Hematology and Oncology
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior outpatient Hematology and Oncology experience
- Experience with multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Familiarity with current oncology protocols and guidelines
- Additional certifications in related fields or specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Residency in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship training or significant experience in Hematology and Oncology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient oncology care
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work on-site as specified
- Ability to travel occasionally for professional development or meetings
- Maintain current state medical license and certifications
