Required Skills:

  • Valid medical license and certification in Family Medicine
  • Proven experience in primary care with OB management and C-Section procedures (must provide case logs)
  • NRP certification (or able to obtain)
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in neonatal and pediatric care
  • Ability to handle occasional admissions and newborn rounding
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to participate in rotating on-call duties
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols and documentation systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience in a family medicine or rural healthcare setting
  • At least 2 years of clinical practice, including OB and C-Section experience

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and occasional weekday call
  • ACT 10 eligibility or completion
  • Ability to work flexible hours (primary care clinic hours typically M-F, 8 am-5 pm)
  • Must be comfortable with minimal pediatric admissions and newborn rounding
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and protocols
