Electrophysiology Physician Assistant

Are you a skilled Physician Assistant searching for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic electrophysiology team within a leading Level IV Trauma Center? We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to provide expert support in a fast-paced hospital setting, helping us deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages. What You'll Do:

  • Support a team of 3 emergency room physicians in delivering top-tier electrophysiology services.
  • Assist with consults, patient consents, MRI device programming, tilt table tests, and outpatient procedures.
  • Manage approximately 20 consults and 6 outpatient procedures daily.
  • Serve a diverse patient population across all ages in a busy Level IV Trauma Center.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 7am - 5pm, with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials.

Required Skills:
  • Active Physician Assistant license in the state.
  • Board Certification in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience supporting electrophysiology procedures and patient consultations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a level IV trauma or hospital setting.
  • Additional certifications related to electrophysiology or cardiology.
  • Familiarity with MRI device programming and tilt table testing.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies.
  • At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, or critical care.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain state licensure and credentials within 60 days.
  • Full travel paid, including airfare, hotel ($180/night cap), and rental car ($65/day cap).
  • Flexibility to work day shifts, with overtime opportunities at 1.2x pay after 10 hours.
  • Eligible for holiday pay at 1.2x rate on major holidays including New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
