Are you a dedicated physician passionate about delivering high-quality emergency care in a scenic coastal setting? We are seeking motivated Emergency Medicine professionals to provide vital coverage at our Seaside facility from July through December 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in a tranquil environment while working flexible shifts that suit your schedule.
Required Skills:
- Active Medical License in the state of Oregon
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, FM, or IM with extensive EM experience
- Current DEA license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PAL; NRP and ATLS highly preferred
- Ability to intubate patients and work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work night shifts and day shifts as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum tenens experience in emergency settings
- Experience working in small-volume ERs
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and patient needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; FM or IM trained candidates with extensive EM experience are encouraged to apply
- At least 2 years of ER experience, preferably in urgent or emergency care settings
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work night shifts (7 pm–7 am) and day shifts (7 am–7 pm)
- Candidate must have a clean file for timely privilege processing; candidates without a clean file should expect a start date closer to July/August
- Minimum of 7-8 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling options
- Must pass credentialing requirements including current CV, licensure, and certifications
- Ability to work in inpatient emergency care environment
- Availability to work through December 2026
