Position Overview:

We are looking for a full-time MRI Technologist to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group located in East Brunswick, NJ. This role requires a skilled professional with current MR experience, preferably on GE equipment and high-field magnets. The position offers a consistent early morning schedule with rotating Saturdays and a comp day off.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
  • Licensure: ARMRIT or ARRT(R)(MR) certification required; CPR Certification required
  • Experience: 2+ years of current MR experience preferred; GE equipment experience preferred; high-field magnet experience preferred
  • Technical requirements: Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams with accuracy and care, preferably on GE equipment and high-field magnets
  • Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including screening for MRI safety contraindications
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with patients and team members
  • Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
  • Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed
  • Cover rotating Saturdays with a comp day off during the week
  • May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
