Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Union Lake OB/GYN team on the Southeast side of Michigan. Union Lake is a new facility that will be opening January/February 2027.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited PA-C or NP Program
  • Requirement for NPs: WHNP certification
  • Current or former employees with OB/GYN experience pursuing WHNP certification may also be considered
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Womens Health Experience preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Support the physicians in providing care to routine low risk OB patients in the office setting
  • Support documentation, orders, and patient education within the electronic medical record
  • Providing comprehensive well woman care, including preventive visits, screenings, and counseling across the lifespan
  • Managing menopause and perimenopause concerns, including individualized treatment planning and symptom management
  • Performing routine in-office procedures such as pap smears, and other gynecologic procedures based on experience and scope
  • Caring for low-risk obstetric patients through routine prenatal follow up visits, including education, monitoring, and coordination of care
  • Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide coordinated care
  • Reviewing labs, and patient communications and ensuring timely follow up
  • Educating patients on preventive health, pregnancy expectations, and overall wellness to support informed decision making
  • Maintaining efficient and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Participating in team huddles and care coordination efforts to support clinic flow and access
