Position Overview
SportsMED is actively seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our thriving team in Huntsville, Alabama. This unique position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to collaborate within a leading healthcare environment, ensuring a balanced workload and rewarding experience while building a successful practice. • Team includes 25 physicians and 24 advanced practice providers, including 4 fellowship-trained spine surgeons.
• Integrated on-site services for streamlined care:
  • MRI
  • Physical & Occupational Therapy
  • DME
  • Orthotics & Prosthetics
  • Urgent Care & Injection Therapy
• Utilizes ModMed EMR system for efficient documentation.
• New, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center opening in early 2027, staffed with experienced spine personnel.

Education & Experience Requirements

• BC/BE in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused, collaborative approach.
• Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license.
