Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with Board Certification in Neonatology
- Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina
- Proven experience providing neonatal intensive care in a Level III NICU setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous locum or per diem experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- At least 2 years of Neonatology experience in a Level III NICU
- Current South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one swiftly
Other Requirements:
- Availability for scheduled dates: 8/29-9/4; 9/12-9/18; 10/10-10/16
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts including rounding and on-call coverage
- Ability to handle high-pressure scenarios with professionalism
- Must meet all standard medical credentialing and compliance requirements
